Harmony Place offers a full continuum of care at our two Outpatient facilities in the Los Angeles area. We accept most insurance and provide a myriad of scheduling options. We won’t drop you into a one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter recovery program, because we know programs like that don’t work. We assess your individual needs and formulate a plan based on who you are, where you are in your recovery journey, and what we believe will work for you here and now.
After residential treatment, it’s important to have the option to live in safe environment where you can continue to restore your best-self. This is why we offer transitional living accommodations in the L.A. area to clients in outpatient treatment. Offering luxurious appointments in a private setting, our spacious transitional living home will offer you the setting you need to further your recovery.
Our partner facility in West Hollywood, Core, offers partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and individual therapy services in West Hollywood, CA. Solution-focused, evidence-based therapeutic practices are used to formulate an Individualized Recovery Plan that changes your progress through the stages of healing. Plans are modular, flexible, and adaptable on multiple levels.

All things necessary to get started, such as food, laundry, WiFi, etc are provided. We have 2 full-time live-in staff members on the property at all times to ensure the safety and comfort of those staying in our care. Our goal at Harmony Place is to make treatment accessible – we now offer a flexible inpatient detox program to meet the needs of clients who might not have the ability to leave work or family for a longer period of time.
What is 24-hour acute care detox?
Harmony Place now offers 24-hour acute care, medically managed detox program from alcohol and substance abuse as part of our many services. The Crisis Stabilization Program is for those who are experiencing subacute biomedical, emotional, behavioral, or cognitive problems as well as acute withdrawal symptoms. The unit is specifically licensed for those adult clients whose symptoms could escalate to a point of requiring acute care, and meet criteria for medical necessity for American Society and Addictive Medicine, ASAM, Level III.7. but do not need the full resources of a hospital setting.
As an alternative to hospitalization, Harmony Place focuses on stabilizing clients and addressing their mental and physical health as well as substance abuse and mental health issues. We do this by providing 24-hour observation by trained medical staff and crisis intervention using multiple treatment modalities.
The tranquil atmosphere at Harmony Place is designed to provide a calming and serene environment required for each client to avoid major physical discomforts and begin their journey to recovery. With our highly skilled physicians, nurses, and licensed clinicians specializing in mental health and substance abuse we provide a structured regimen of 24 hour professionally directed evaluation, observation, medical monitoring, and addiction treatment at an inpatient residential setting.
What is detox like at Harmony Place?
When quitting drugs or alcohol – either cold turkey or through tapered detox – withdrawal symptoms will begin to peak as the chemicals leave the body. When the symptoms peak at the most intense stages, this is known as acute withdrawal.
After acute withdrawal has passed, the most dangerous portion of detox (safely removing toxins from the body) has been completed, though the lingering effects of withdrawal can persist for days or weeks. Sub-acute detox treats the patient for these lingering effects and symptoms, helping make it easier to focus on the therapy and recovery process that has likely begun by this point. Sub-acute detox may involve tapering off any medications that were prescribed during the acute stage of withdrawal.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Our acute-care detox process involves administering specific medications to address and alleviate the discomfort of withdrawal. For example, we may prescribe Suboxone to help someone who’s trying to detox from opioid addiction. The difference at Harmony Place is we don’t function as a Suboxone or methadone clinic where clients indefinitely take one of these less-addictive opioid drugs. Our goal is to gradually taper the client down until he or she is off the potentially harmful, mind-altering drugs completely.
BASIS-24® OUTCOMES TESTING
At Harmony Place, we utilize an evidence-based treatment approach with measurable results – our team of experts and professionals are dedicated to helping our clients achieve long-term sobriety.
